FIRST PARAMOUNT SALE GRADUATE TO RUN. . .WINS!

East Bay wins Impressively at Keeneland

EAST BAY, a two-year-old filly by STORMIN' FEVER out of TEE FOR THREE, broke her maiden by five impressive lengths at Keeneland April 11.  The filly broke cleanly and had the lead within the first quarter mile.  Entering the stretch the daughter of STORMIN' FEVER responded gamely and opened up in the last sixteenth with ears pricked to finish by five widening lengths.  She is the first winner for her sire.

Trainer Dallas Stewart had high praise for EAST BAY stating that she is a "very intelligent filly with a lot of potential."  Stewart is currently uncertain where EAST BAY's next start will be, however his optimism about her future was obvious.

Consigned by Paramount Sales for The Lads in the 2002 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, the filly was purchased by Bobby Powell on behalf of Mike Rutherford for Manchester Farm.  Congratulations to all of EAST BAY's connections on behalf of Paramount Sales.  We wish you all the best of luck with her this season.
