FASIG-TIPTON KICKS OFF SUMMER SALE SEASON

Paramount Sales is looking forward to rolling out the red carpet for its buyers as well as its sellers beginning at Fasig-Tipton in July.  Paramount Sales is consigning 28 yearlings to the Kentucky Summer Sale.  The consignment is full of outstanding individuals highlighted by a colt by FUSAICHI PEGASUS out of REGENT'S WALK (a half brother to MARQUETRY), an UNBRIDLED'S SONG colt out of SOLID EIGHT (half brother to EUCHRE) and a GRAND SLAM colt out of DANZIG DARLING. 

Other sires showcased this July include: ELUSIVE QUALITY, WILD RUSH, HENNESSY, TOUCH GOLD, APTITUDE, MORE THAN READY, TIZNOW, POINT GIVEN and INDIAN CHARLIE.  Paramount topped the 2003 Fasig-Tipton July sale with the 2002 filly by FUSAICHI PEGASUS out of LA CHAPOSA, and may have a good chance of being at the top again in 2004.  We invite everyone to stop by the barn and visit us.

 
SARATOGA SEASON

 

Get out your sunglasses and suitcases, it's time for the annual summer pilgrimage to Saratoga.  The racetrack and the sale pavilions are awaiting the buzz of horse players.  Pat Costello will be busy once again with three select yearlings and sixteen preferred yearlings. 

 

The racing will be prime as usual, with no less than 43 stake races, 30 graded races and 13 Grade 1 races.  You can find a list of the Grade 1 races at Saratoga along with a list of the other Grade 1 races throughout the country through the month of August below.  We'll see you in Saratoga!

 

TATTERSALLS HOUGHTON SALE CONSIGNMENT

 

Paramount Sales is excited to announce that we are sending a select consignment of horses to the Tattersall's Houghton Sale (October 5-8, 2004) in Newmarket.  We will be selling in partnership with Jamie Railton and the consignment includes:

GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT

 

Paramount grads are winning with great consistency once again.  We have reorganized our website in order to keep up with pace at which the grads win and need to be updated.  Each horse has a profile which can be viewed by clicking on its name.  The profile includes pedigree, ownership, sales results and charts.  Soon we will also include photos of the grads as yearlings.

Congratulations to the connections of Group 1 runner ANTONIUS PIUS who finished a very good third at Royal Ascot in the St. James's Palace Stakes.  This came after his disastrous stretch mishap in the French Derby in which he hit the rail after gaining a good lead with only a furlong to run.
